Chisholm Academy is committed to assisting families in financial need and maximizing possible reductions for all families. We offer several payment plans in addition to the potential savings below. Over 90% of our families have been approved by CRA for the Medical Tax Credit. The chart was created by a third party financial organization. Other Costs:
An Activity Fee of $375 will be added to your invoice. This fee covers all day trips, year book, padlocks, student agendas and special events.
A Technology Fee of $650 will be added to your invoice. This fee covers the computer rental, software, smart technology, assistive devices, toner, printers and an on-site IT professional.
Transportation is available to most communities and is payable in three instalments. $3500 annually.
Uniforms are purchased directly from our supplier, In-School Wear.
Books are bought and sold through the Canadian School Book Exchange.
Overnight School Trips are voluntary and an additional fee will be invoiced.
Payments may be made by cheques, credit card, e-transfer or direct deposit.
High School Credit Courses that are not routinely offered by the school will require an additional fee.
Tax Savings under the Income Tax Act may be possible for students with a diagnosed Learning Disability through the Medical Tax Credit or through a Health Spending Account. Such actions may reduce the actual tuition by several thousands of dollars based on individual circumstances.
