Chisholm Academy Graduation – June 2025

On June 20, 2025, Chisholm Academy had the honour of celebrating our Grade 8 and Grade 12 graduates at the Oakville Conference Centre, surrounded by faculty, family, and friends. It was a day of reflection and joy—a milestone marking the culmination of our graduates’ hard work, dedication, and growth.

The ceremony began with a warm introduction by our Master of Ceremonies, Mr. Tollefsrud, followed by reflections and words of wisdom from our Director, Dr. Howard Bernstein. Graduate award winners were recognized to resounding applause, and Principal Mrs. Moyssakos shared her heartfelt congratulations, memorable moments, and best wishes for the future.

Our Grade 8 Valedictorian, Beth Lawlor, honoured her classmates before faculty presented the Grade 8 certificates. Later, Grade 12 Valedictorian, Matthew Pitterson, delivered a moving address to his peers, who were then celebrated with their diplomas and recognition as Chisholm Academy’s Ontario Scholars. The ceremony concluded with our cherished tradition—the tossing of graduation caps.

Following the formal program, faculty, students, parents, and friends gathered for a festive luncheon, enjoying a Grad Baby Photo Slideshow and a Year-in-Review video showcasing the many memorable events of the past year—thanks to the dedication of our staff and students.
