Chisholm Academy’s Grade 7-12 Montreal Trip

Chisholm Academy’s Grade 7-12 students had the opportunity to participate in an end of year excursion to Montreal from May 20-23, 2025!  While on this trip, they enjoyed exploring the city and all that it has to offer.  They appreciated a bird’s eye view of the city from Mount Royal Lookout.  The Aura Light Show at the Notre-Dame Basilica highlighted its heritage and beauty.  They explored Old Montreal’s historical district, the Montreal Science Centre, the Pointe-a-Calliere Archeological Museum, learned to navigate the ropes and trampolines at Ecole de Cirque de Verdun, and enjoyed the atmosphere and amazing food at Sucrerie de la Montagne – Sugar Shack!  Students enjoyed taking part in a Graffiti Workshop, exploring the shops and cafes on Rue Ste. Catherine, and learned about our ecosystems and the stars through visits to the Biodome and the Montreal Planetarium. And a trip to Montreal wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the Montreal Bagel shop!

Overall, this was a wonderful opportunity for our students to travel to one of Canada’s most beautiful cities and build memories with their peers!
