Spring Spirit Week 2025

Chisholm Academy’s Student Council was proud to organize a wonderful week of Spring Spirit from April 22-25, 2025.. Each day represented a particular theme with an accompanying Academy House challenge. 

Students celebrated Earth Day on April 22 by wearing earthy colours and participating in Chisholm’s neighbourhood cleanup. This was followed by Tropical Day, during which students sported Hawaiian shirts, flower leis and beachy vibes. Chisholm Academy also celebrated Culture Day, with staff and students displaying their traditional ethnic clothing or colours, and enjoying cultural food.  Lastly, our Spring Spirit Week ended with Hat Day with a twist – depending on which Academy House students were part of, they wore either “Career”, “Tea with the King”, “Circus/Clown/Crazy”, or “Country and Western” hats.

Students took the Academy House challenges to heart, and raised points for their respective Houses, based on their participation each day.  Our House challenges saw the Gryphons take 1st place, Dragons placed 2nd, Krakens were 3rd followed by the Phoenix House. Good job everyone!
