Grade 11 and 12 Field Trip to Mohawk College

On Tuesday, February 4, our Grade 11 and 12 students took a trip to Hamilton to check out Mohawk College’s Fennell Campus. We received an individualized tour of the services and amenities including the rec centre, student union, registrars office and more. A view of the innovative classrooms with all the current technology for networking, programing, robotics and 3D printing was a real treat to see. We had a chance to visit the Career Pathways program, the CICE classroom, the automotive workshop and mock court room. Watching the police foundations students do practice tactical exercises was especially entertaining! We finished our trip with lunch in the food court before heading back to Chisholm. It’s always great to immerse ourselves into post-secondary environments to get a feel for life after high school!
