Grade 7-9 Quebec City Trip

Our Grade 7-9 students had the opportunity to participate in an end of year excursion to Quebec City from May 13-16, 2024!  While on this trip, they enjoyed exploring Quebec City’s beautiful Upper Town and Lower Town, a visit to the Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupre Basilica, a workshop at the Albert Gilles Copper Museum, and a cable car ride and sightseeing at Montmorency Falls Park. Our group also learned more about Huron traditions through their guided tour at the Traditional Huron Site – Onhoua Chetek8e, followed by a traditional French Canadian Sugar Shack meal.

Students had fun participating in a number of role play Battle Reenactment activities at the Plains of Abraham and the Martello Tower, followed by a tour at Forts-et-Chateaux-Saint-Louis to explore the secrets and history of the forts, archeological crypt and artifacts.

Overall, this was a wonderful opportunity for our students to travel to one of Canada’s most beautiful cities and build memories with their peers!
