Grade 12 Leadership Trip to Global Medic

The Grade 12 Recreation & Healthy Active Living Leadership class attended a field trip to GlobalMedic on Friday, April 12 to pack food and medical supplies for disaster relief. GlobalMedic is a Canadian charity, founded in 2002 to provide humanitarian aid to people affected by poverty, disaster or conflict. 

The purpose of this trip was to show the students the connection between leadership concepts and meaningful actions. It also provided our students with a sense of accomplishment and community spirit. Our students were excited to see what they could accomplish when they rolled up their sleeves!
