2021 Arts Night – Featuring “Doors” by Susan Zeder

On Wednesday, June 9th, and Thursday, June 10th, 2021, Chisholm Academy hosted a very special Arts YouTube premier event. Both evenings showcased the very best of Chisholm’s drama, music, and artistic talent.

My Grade 12 Drama class exquisitely performed Susan Zeder’s touching, emotional, funny, and relatable play about family, friendship, love, loss, and new beginnings. Despite the virtual platform, the actors still had the opportunity to connect with their audience before and after the show for a Q&A session and to receive rave reviews from their fans. 

To Josh, Ryan, Rachel, and Oscar – you four amaze me with your commitment, love of our show, and one another. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for this experience and for making every day in Period 3 the most fun. 

A very special thank you to Lee Parsons who took my vision and made it a virtual reality. 

I am forever grateful for the countless hours of work and editing that it took to bring the Stuart family to life. Here’s to another successful year of Drama at Chisholm Academy, hoping to bring the magic back to the stage next year! Have a wonderful summer everyone and thank you for always offering such tremendous support to the Drama department.
