2020-2021 Admissions at Chisholm Academy

Just as our school has adapted to the COVID-19 situation, so has our admissions process. Our Associate Director, Adam Bernstein and our Admissions Officer, Lorna Hughes are working remotely and will continue to personally guide you through our admissions process and endeavour to make it as seamless as possible.

The process may look a little different, however, given the circumstances. You will still begin with a phone conversation with Mrs. Hughes, to guide you through the steps of the process and answer any initial questions you may have. Then parent interviews will be conducted with Adam Bernstein and Lorna Hughes via video conference. Something we have all become used to in our COVID-19 working lives!

Meeting your child is the most important part of admissions at Chisholm. Despite all of the documentation you will send us, like psychoeducational assessments and report cards, meeting your child in person is critical to us truly understanding who they are and what they need to be successful.
For this reason, for now we will either complete a video chat or wait to meet with your child until we can do so in person.

While we all learn to navigate our current reality, Chisholm Academy will hold your hand (although virtually for now) as you look for the support and environment that your child needs to be successful both academically and socially.

Chisholm Academy is easy to reach. Simply call the school at (905) 844-3240 and ask for Mrs. Hughes, or email her at lorna.hughes@chisholmacademy.com. We can also be reached via our contact form here.
