Lego NXT Robot Race

Things were gearing up to a fine conclusion this week as our grade ten TEJ2O Computer Engineering class prepared for their Lego NXT robot race. Students learned how to program the NXT as well as the use of touch and sonic sensors. They created a line follower program and also learned how to code for obstacle avoidance using motor and sensor control. Next week, our big race where the students will demonstrate their coding skills and put to use their new knowledge of gear ratios.
