On Tuesday, September 24th our school celebrated the incredible achievements of Terry Fox, and his efforts to raise awareness and money to fight against cancer. His journey inspired a nation and to show our respect and appreciation for Terry’s sacrifice, our Grade 12 Recreation & Leadership students accepted the responsibility of organizing a fun-filled day for the students at Chisholm Academy. It began with a wonderful assembly where we watched two inspirational videos, followed by a walk around the community to symbolize our recognition of Terry’s run across half of Canada. When we returned to the school everyone enjoyed a BBQ and afternoon of games. Thank you to everyone who helped make this day a great success!
