Chisholm Explores Quebec City

Wow, what a wonderful week in Quebec City!

After four exhilarating days, two long bus rides and a bunch of fun, the Grade 6, 7 and 8 students are back at Chisholm!

We started our trip by getting into Quebec City around 6 PM on Monday afternoon after an 11-hour bus ride. We had Wi-Fi on the bus so the kids were in luxury! After a delicious dinner at Bistro 1640, that evening we went on a night tour of Upper Town with our Brightspark guide, Frankie. The next few days were full of crazy activities. From touring Montmorency Falls to a presentation at Musee de Fort to walking through Upper and Lower Town, we got to explore the famous sights and sounds of Quebec City.

But we can’t forget about the delicious meals! We got to experience traditional cuisine at the Sugar Shack, sample some delights in Lower Town, tasty maple butter at Chez Marie and many more fantastic meals. The trip ended on our final night with a great round of bowling at Quillorama Bowling Alley. All the kids quickly rushed to the slushie station to get their sugar fix before a competitive few hours, with Charles-Anthony getting the highest score of teachers and students.

On Friday, we sadly boarded the bus home, said goodbye to our lovely tour guide and returned to the GTA. In summary, what an awesome trip and even better company. We couldn’t have asked our students to be better representatives of Chisholm Academy for the week and we are already looking forward to our trip next year! Thanks again for everyone’s help in making this an amazing experience!
