Student Council School Spirit BBQ

On Thursday, April 18, Chisholm Academy’s Student Council hosted an amazing School Spirit BBQ today, to celebrate the coming of Spring! It was the perfect day for a BBQ, with staff and students basking in the warm sunshine, enjoying grilled burgers or hotdogs, pop and chips, flag football, and more!

With the Easter weekend just around the corner, students were also given a chance to get a headstart on chocolate indulgence, by participating in an Easter Egg Hunt! Student Council hid over 50 eggs and treats around the school for students to find. The person who found the most eggs won a prize!

Our Me to We team also held a bake sale to raise funds for WE Villages, to help them access water, food, education, opportunity and healthcare. In this way, our students were able to give people in some of the poorest parts of the world the ingredients they need to create a better life, while also enjoying some deliciously sweet brownies, cake, truffles, cupcakes, cookies, cake pops and more!

Finally, our school community came together to share our best wishes with one of our own students, and welcome him back after a long, courageous and successful battle with a major health issue.

On behalf of Chisholm Academy, we wish you all a wonderful time with your families and friends over the upcoming holiday!
