Winter Arts Night: “Baker’s Dozen”

On December 18, 2018, Chisholm Academy’s Drama Club thrilled audiences with two performances of their winter production, “Baker’s Dozen” by Pat Cook. In this hilarious and touching story of the bond between two brothers, Jeffy and Jimmy Baker, we are taken back by the now-grown Jeff to look in on “the summer I learned not to take things…or people for granted.” The cast of Joshua K., Brady, Jackson, Abigail, Rachel and Loya portrayed their characters beautifully and delivered a poignant performance that was a great end to a wonderful Spirit Week at Chisholm Academy!  I could not be more proud of how hard these six students worked together to put on such a fantastic show. I watched in awe as they professionally and seamlessly carried out each scene. The countless hours of rehearsal paid off tremendously! I am looking forward to taking the play to the next level as we get ready to perform again at the National Theatre School Drama Festival on February 28, 2019, at Aldershot High School.

Looking forward to seeing Chisholm Academy staff and students at the show to support to our amazing students!
