It’s the spookiest time of the year!
Halloween is always a spookily sweet time at Chisholm!
With fall in full swing, our students descended decked out in some unique and magnificent gear (think Steam-Punk, The Joker and Mr. Mario). They were greeted first thing with some pumpkin-spiced hot chocolate served up by the Student Council. As the “Cereal Killer”, Air Canada Pilot and a AC/DC Rockstar head to their classes, everyone was cheering on their friends for the costume-commitment. Some students donned their favourite sports gear or superhero suit!
At lunch, we had our Costume Competition which was really just an opportunity to show off how great everyone looked! We had a few group costumes with Ms. Ferrin and Ms. Edmonds as a bunch of “Nerds” and a Grade 7 class ready to save you from The Matrix.
The categories and winners were:
- Best Overall: Dylan D. as AC/DC Rockstar
- Funniest: John as the “Cereal” Killer
- Most Creative: Cole at the “School Germ”
- Most Original: Ronan as a Steam Punk
- Most Realistic: Thomas as an Air Canada Pilot
The day ended with Candygrams delivered as a sweet treat to our friends and teachers.
