WE Day 2018

Before the break of dawn, on September 20 some of Chisholm’s Me to We members arrived bright-eyed and ready to participate in the exciting event that takes place annually.

We made our way to the Scotiabank Arena where the party to celebrate our philanthropic endeavours ensued. Students were given some cool Me to We swag and found our way to the amazing seats in the 100s. Equipped with signs created by our very own Chisholm artists, we cheered alongside thousands of other students from all over Ontario!

Students had the opportunity to be reinspired by listening to speakers such as Lilly Singh, Ann Curry, Devery Jacobs, Spencer West, Mariatu Kamara, Mason Ramsey, Margaret Trudeau and many more. When we weren’t hearing stories of change and charity, we got to jam out with the Arkells, Jack and Jack, Why Don’t We and the Celebrity Marauders! The once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see the Muppets live was really something!

Chisholm might just make it onto the TV broadcast set for Saturday, November 24 at 7pm on CTV.

Thank you to everyone who helped with making We Day 2018 a success. We are ready to take on another year of raising awareness and making change.
