Grade 12 Drama Class Production: 7 Minutes in Heaven a Huge Success

On May 30th 2018 at 9:30am, the grade 12 drama class walked into the Queen Elizabeth Park black box theatre all geared up to spend the next 13 hours together. It was a beautiful day and was a memory that forever binds this dynamic, loving and spirited group. With the help of fantastic lighting and sound (which wouldn’t have been possible without the wonderful Harrison), the class performed “Seven Minutes in Heaven” by Steven Levenson. The script was poignant, heartbreaking and hilarious, commenting on the ups and downs of high school life. Miles, Gabe, Peter, Natalie, Kelly and Manushri were a brilliant ensemble cast and gripped the audience from the moment they got on stage. Thank you to Ted for being an outstanding backstage manager and for Ms. Edmonds for spending the entire day with us and for being our biggest fan.
Our heartfelt thanks to all the staff, friends and family that came out to support our little drama family and thank you to my remarkable drama class for an experience we will never forget.
I can’t wait for the 2018-2019 school year to see what our drama department will do next!
