Creature Quest Visits Chisholm Academy

On Tuesday October 17th 2017, Chisholm Academy was excited to have a
representative from Creature Quest Canada come to the school to showcase
some of nature’s critters. Creature Quest Canada is a self-supporting,
not-for-profit organization dedicated to connecting people to the natural
world.

This was Creature Quest’s third year hosting a presentation at Chisholm.
Students were able to touch and hold some of the animals, as well as take
photos with them. Some of the animals that were showcased included a
hedgehog, a tarantula, a snake, a caiman, and a chinchilla. Seeing these
animals up close gave students an opportunity to learn about different
species and their habitats, and gave them a new appreciation for nature’s
critters.

We always look forward to the Creature Quest presentation each year, as it
was an event that was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
